Shallow water light gear fishing is a passion of ours. Forget the heavy rods and gear that most boats provide, we love big fish on light gear. We provide light inshore rods, swim baits and target fish that rarely see anglers. If you are a freshwater bass fisherman, you are going to love flipping jigs for huge rockfish or ripping stick baits for stripers. Not only will this be one of the most fun fishing experiences you’ll ever have, but the fish tacos will blow your mind
We use a mixture of TFO baitcasting and spinning rods depending on the fishing situation and anglers preference. All rods are fitted with Shimano reels and we are very excited to have the new Tranx baitcasters on all our casting rods. Lures and hardware are provided on all charters. Where to Meet
Locations are determined based on weather, conditions and can change at the last minute. It is important to contact me the night before your charter to confirm where we are meeting.
For your convenience, we offer San Francisco waterfront pick up. Please let us know and we will come to you. Unheard of service, only from Feather Dog Outfitters.
What to Bring
Food and beverages, sunscreen, hat, polarized sunglasses, camera, NON-marking shoes, raingear, jacket and personalized tackle if preferred.
What NOT to Bring
Please do not bring large bags or personal coolers. It is important to have a clutter free deck while fishing from our boats. There is a cooler stocked with ice, water and plenty of room for your food.
